This is a full-time CONTRACT position with the same benefits as Regular full-time. Most contracts are renewable for terms of one year.

NATURE OF WORK:

 Performs professional, administrative and supervisory work related to the management of the Constitutional Policing & Policy Implementation Unit of the Office of Constitutional Policing. The Constitutional Policing & Policy Administrator works to ensure transparency and accountability through reviewing and evaluating policies and through the management of constitutional policing and community trust and equity related programs and projects. This position plans, organizes, supervises, and evaluates staff involved in reporting data to ensure the efficient operations of the Office of Constitutional Policing. The incumbent is responsible for various management and technical reports, policy evaluation, and data analysis reports. Work is performed under the direction of the Constitutional Policing Division Executive Director. 
 

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field, and four (4) years’ professional experience in developing law enforcement policies, administrating law enforcement programs, and project management  or an equivalent combination of related education, training and experience required. Prior supervisory law enforcement experience preferred. Prior law enforcement training and development experience preferred. Competency in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite required. 

Must pass police background investigation which includes polygraph examination. 

A Valid Driver license from any state is required. Valid Florida driver license required within 30 days of hire.
