IADLEST Academy Accreditation: Bosnia and Herzegovina

The IADLEST Academy Accreditation team has begun the assessment of the Ministry of Security Agency for Education and Professional Training in Mostar (AEPTM), Bosnia and Herzegovina.  The AEPTM is one of 3 police academies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and focuses on the training of the national-level police agencies.  The agency is the first of the 3 academies in the nation to engage in the accreditation process, and has provided a wealth of information and considerable cooperation to the assessors.  The 2.5 day process will focus on the agency’s performance in compliance with the 53 comprehensive standards that cover statutory and regulatory compliance, mutual aid agreements and policies, staffing, operations, facilities, record keeping, training development, training delivery, students, information technology, fiscal and equipment.
