The Executive Director is appointed by the Kansas Commission of Peace Officers’ Standards and Training and serves at the pleasure of the Commission. Any appointment offer will be expressly contingent upon approval from the Kansas Commission on Peace Officers' Standards and Training and the Office of the Governor.
This is a law enforcement position. Prior to employment, the successful candidate will be offered a conditional offer of employment subject to a full law enforcement background check, criminal history record check, polygraph, psychological evaluation, and drug test.
