The NDI database is considered confidential by IADLEST. Access to NDI will only be granted to a California department or agency personnel who are part of the peace officer background process, and who meet the following criteria:
- MUST have a California POST ID
- MUST be listed on the California POST agency roster (If you are unsure about the POST roster, contact your California POST representative via email at: NDI Inquiry )
- MUST request access from a governmental email account (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc... are not acceptable)
- MUST provide supervisor and contact information
You MUST meet ALL of these criteria. Failure to do so will result in denial, and significantly delay processing of your application.
