Training: Analytical Workshops
All workshops are nationally certified and therefore they may be submitted for TCOLE credit hours. These hands-on training courses are offered at NO COST to the attendee/agency, and in some cases, the lodging and meal per diem associated with traveling and attending the training is provided.
Analyst Training Workshops:
These 2-day courses are for individuals assigned to analytical roles within agencies implementing, or seeking to implement, the data-driven operational crash and crime reduction policing model. These hands-on courses will instruct on and demonstrate the techniques and technologies needed to support their agencies and help their strategic use of a data-driven model.

ArcGIS Pro Mapping Workshops:
ArcGIS Pro and SAFER– Basic Training: This course will introduce participants to the fundamental concepts of integrating GIS with the Strategic Analysis for Focused Engagement with Results (SAFER): Crime and Crash Reduction Model. Students will learn how GIS supports the SAFER framework by identifying areas where crime and traffic crashes overlap. The basic course emphasizes hands-on learning with ArcGIS tools to add tabular crime and crash data to the map, visualize data, perform simple spatial queries, and produce maps that support data-informed deployment decisions.

Law Enforcement Agency Analytical Workshop:
This 2-day workshop is for law enforcement executives, commanders, supervisors, and analytical personnel who want to create or expand their agency's crime and crash analysis capability, whether just getting started or making adjustments to an existing program.
