Virtual Online Training:

 

 Multi-part Online Analytical Training Series

This free training series is designed for new and seasoned analysts to learn the key primary skills needed to practice effective and efficient analytical processes. This series explores the benefits of data-driven strategies, the process of connecting databases and analyzing in Microsoft Access®, applying statistical significance techniques in Microsoft Excel®, and developing key mapping and analytical skills in ArcGIS.  Attendees completing all 13 parts can apply to the International Association of Crime Analysts (IACA) and receive credit and recognition as Certified DDACTS Analyst.

NOTE: The thirteen lessons in this course are NCP Certified and qualify as in-service credit hours in 36 states.

Tactical Analysis for Crashes & Crime

This is a 14-hour virtual workshop is next in the continuing online analytical training series. This 24-hour virtual workshop builds off the 10-part online training analytical training series. The training is presented over four weeks in a multi-faceted learning platform that includes both live and recorded training sessions, self-paced activities, and one-on-one live remote tutorial sessions throughout three week period.

Microsoft ACCESS for Data-Driven Strategies - INTERMEDIATE

This 14-hour virtual workshop is the next step in the training series and builds on the Basic-Access Workshop. The workshop includes the topics of creating master databases and forms, mastering complex queries, and designing complex reporting and macros. The workshop is presented over three weeks in a multi-faceted learning platform that includes both live and recorded training sessions, self-paced activities, and one-on-one live remote tutorial sessions throughout the three weeks.
